The Gallatin Police Department responded to the following during the month of July:

July 4 at 8 p.m. — domestic violence assault at 401 Julia. The primary aggressor was arrested and detained for 20 hours.

July 5 at 10:20 a.m. — automobile accident at Hwy. 6 and 13. No injuries reported. A citation was issued.

July 7 at 5:25 p.m. — automobile accident at Van Buren and South Daviess. No injuries reported. Citations issued.

July 7 at 9:30 p.m. — assault at 512 South Clay.

July 9 — bicycle theft reported at 103 East Elm. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. on July 6 and 10 a.m. on July 8. The bicycle was taken from a bicycle rack at an apartment building.

July 11 at 6:30 p.m. — peace disturbance at 202 South Water. An intoxicated individual was incarcerated. A citation was issued.

July 13 at 7:30 p.m. — drunk driving arrest at 206 South Water.

July 16 — private property one vehicle accident at 111 South Main. The accident occurred on July 11 at 6:15 a.m. at the post office. No citation was issued.

July 17 at 4:25 p.m. — auto accident at Burns and South Clay. No injuries reported. One driver received a citation.

July 17 at 10:10 p.m. — warrant arrest.

July 19 at 5 p.m. — property damage at 206 Stream.

July 23 at 6 p.m. — domestic violence assault at 612 West Johnson. The incident was referred to the prosecutor because the assailant was not present when the police were informed.

July 24 — theft of utilities at 208 South Water The theft occurred between July 20 and 24. The incident was referred to the prosecutor.

July 27 at 9 p.m. — domestic disturbance at 406 West Johnson. Information was forwarded to the prosecutor for determination of charges.

July 28 at 5:06 p.m. — police impounded 17 weapons. in connection with a divorce settlement. The individual who received the guns in the settlement had an order or protection against him.

July 26 at 7:30 p.m. — outside warrant arrest. The warrant was for another jurisdiction. Gallatin police took the bond.
