Sam Everly, former Gallatin resident, has been selected to play a leading role in the upcoming Creative Arts Production of the “The Nifty Fifties,” a musical comedy tribute to the 1950s. Sam will play the role of George, a high school basketball star.

Performances are June 21 and 22 at the Missouri Theater in St. Joseph. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Previews of the play can be seen on KQTV Live @ 5 on Wednesday. Sam is a sophomore at Mid Buchanan High School. He is the son of Tom and Edie Everly and Richard and Bonnie Walker.
