Funeral services for Andrew Kurtz were held Tuesday at Abe Kurtz’s home, 30098 State Highway NN, Jamesport. Burial was at Meadow View Cemetery, Jamesport
Andrew P. Kurtz, 19, Jamesport, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in a pond accident in northwest Livingston County, Mo.
Mr. Kurtz was born in Trenton. He attended an Amish school in Jamesport. He was a lifelong resident of Jamesport.
Mr. Kurtz was employed as a construction worker for Levi Kurtz in Jamesport.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Community and Church,
Mr. Kurtz was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Abe N. Kramer.
Survivors include his parents, Perry J. and Mary E. (Kramer) Kurtz, Bloomfield, Iowa; four brothers, Abe Kurtz, Jamesport, Jonas, Aaron and Daniel Kurtz, all of Bloomfield, Iowa; a sister, Rosanna Kurtz, Jamesport; a maternal grandmother, Anna Kramer, Jamesport; and paternal grandparents, Jonas and Katie Kurtz, Jamesport.
