Kristin Payne has been selected to go on the United Nations Youth Pilgrimage Tour sponsored by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges. Kristin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Payne of Jamesport. She will be a junior in the Harrison County R-6 School at Gilman City this coming year. Miss Payne is one of two students sponsored by the Rebekah Assembly of Missouri. The tour is a 14 day tour to Niagara Falls, Washington D.C., New York City, including the United Nations and Valley Forge. Miss Payne will join 55 other youth from Missouri and the Midwest, leaving from Columbia on June 28. They will visit the points of interest and also will do a community service project in Central Park in New York City.
