Dan Hartman, 29, is Gallatin’s newest police officer.
Dan Hartman, 29, graduated top of his class from Northwest Missouri Regional Law Enforcement Academy in St. Joe on June 15, the same day was his swearing in as Gallatin’s newest police officer.
Officer Hartman served in army intelligence for seven years. He was then a security police officer for the Air National Guard for about a year.
A graduate of Savannah High School, Officer Hartman attended Missouri Western State College where he studied criminal justice and Central Texas State College where he studied business management.
He has two children, Joshua, 8, and Ashley, 7.
Officer Hartman presently resides in Savannah, but is looking for a home in Gallatin.
