After church service Sunday, June 3, the Presbyterians, 41 total, drove to Lake Viking for a buffet luncheon at the lake front home of Marge and Tut McAfee. The McAfee’s daughter, Mindy, her husband, Richard, and grandchildren, Sarah Ann, and Richie from Excelsior Springs, and their son, Tut Jr., and his wife, Julie from Lathrop, came to help their parents with boat and jet ski rides.
Due to the rain, only one boat ride could be taken. Nevertheless, there was a lot of visiting and good food. It was an enjoyable afternoon. About 16 regular members couldn’t attend and were missed.
