These two young ladies led the 44 students comprising the Gallatin Class of 2001 during commencement exercises Sunday. Kara Sullenger, daughter of John and Mary Sullenger, earned valedictorian honors. Kara plans to attend William Jewell College to study business administration. Salutatorian was Jamie Burnett, daughter of Becky Ness and Wayne Burnett. She plans to attend the University of Missouri to study computer sciences.
