Where would you like to go this summer? 2001 Places to Go is the theme for the statewide Missouri youth summer library program, and Daviess County Library in Gallatin and Jamesport is the first place to go.

This summer children entering first grade through seventh grade and their families are encouraged to travel to countless destinations, both near and far, through books. Children may begin the journey on May 24, 2001, and keep reading until Aug. 1. All children completing the program will receive exciting prizes!

2001 Places to Go will include story times, programs, and suggestion for fun-filled family activities. The library’s first program will be the return of Parasol Puppets on June 5 at 3:30 p.m. Daviess County Library welcomes the entire family to hit the road to 2001 reading adventures.
