Services for Forest Noel, a former resident of Winston, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Bram-Summerfield Funeral Home, Stewartsville. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home, Box 69, Stewartsville.
Forrest “Gene” Noel, 64, Osborn, died Monday, April 30, 2001, at a Cameron hospital.
Mr. Noel was born in Washington, Iowa. He was a graduate of Winston High School.
Mr. Noel and his brother Gary owned Noel’s Tires of Cameron.
Mr. Noel was a member of First Baptist Church of Winston.
On Jan. 24, 1958, he married Barbara Saunders at Stewartsville. They later divorced.
Survivors include a son, Chris Noel, Stewartsville; a daughter, Rhonda Wilkinson, Lathrop; his mother, Mildred Jones, Las Vegas; four brothers, Gary Noel, Cameron, Ronald Noel, Osborn, Donald Buck and Gaylon Buck, both of Las Vegas; and a sister, Sheila Lambert, Las Vegas.
