Gallatin R-5 senior Rochelle Davitt signed a letter of intent last Thursday to play basketball next season for the North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates. Davitt led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding each of the last three seasons. She received all-Grand River Conference honors three times and twice made the all-district team. She will join recent NCMC basketball signees, Lesli Wyatt of Mercer and Ashley Berry of Grundy County, on next season’s Lady Pirate squad.
Rochelle is flanked by her parents, Brenda and Russell Davitt. Also present for the signing ceremony were NCMC head coach Max Mothersbaugh (back row, left) and Gallatin High School coach Rick Lin.
