Loren Heldenbrand of Kidder reported a gate had been stolen south of Altamont on April 21.
Martha Cook of Winston reported burglary and property damage on April 10, when subject(s) broke in her door and took two china cabinets, leaving broken dishes behind. Damage/loss is estimated at $1,200.
On April 16, Harold Gervais reported a burglary at Lake Viking which occurred during the weekend of April 13, when subject(s) broke a window to gain entry. The value of the stolen items is undetermined at this time.

A 26-year-old Illinois man was arrested April 21 and charged with the Class A misdemeanor of operating a vehicle without a valid license. He posted bond of $150.
A 24-year-old Winston man was arrested April 20 and charged with the Class A misdemeanor of passing bad checks (under $150) on a Cole County warrant. He posted bond of $200.
A 43-year-old Texas man was arrested April 21 and charged with the Class A misdemeanor of operating a vehicle with no valid license. He posted bond of $250.
A 20-year-old Iowa man was arrested April 20 for the Class B misdemeanor of property damage, 2nd degree. The damage occurred at an interstate rest area. He posted bond of $350.
Brenda J. Wilson of Pattonsburg was arrested April 22 for the Class D felony, unlawful use of a weapon. She posted bond of $10,000, cash or corporate.
Randy Worthey of Gallatin was arrested April 23 for the Class D felony of passing bad checks. He posted $350 cash bond.
