Charley Edward Loucks, 57, Breckenridge, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died Monday, April 16, 2001, at Heartland Regional Medical Center East in St. Joseph.
Funeral services for Charley Loucks, a native of Pattonsburg, were held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Bram Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Clear Creek Cemetery, Lock Springs. Memorials may be made to the United Way Fund, in care of the funeral home, 1329 W. Grand Ave.
Charley Edward Loucks, 57, Breckenridge, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died Monday, April 16, 2001, at Heartland Regional Medical Center East in St. Joseph.
Mr. Loucks was born in Pattonsburg. He lived most of his life in Daviess County near Gallatin.
Mr. Loucks was employed as an industrial spray painter for Simms Barrel Company in Kansas City, Kan., before taking medical leave. He was previously employed by Litton-Ingalls Shipyards at Pascagoula, Miss., and Coastal Blasting & Painting Company in Gautier, Miss.
Mr. Loucks was a member of the Teamsters Union in Pascagoula, Miss.
On Nov. 6, 1964, he married Sally Taylor in Triplett. She survives of the home.
Mr. Loucks was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Carl Loucks; and four sisters, Helen Holcomb, Edith Wise, Shirley and Goldie Loucks.
Other survivors include one daughter, Patsy Nelson, Kansas City, Kan.; two sons, Chuck Lewallen, Breckenridge, and Rusty Loucks, Breckenridge; two brothers, his twin, Charles, Breckenridge, and Raymond, Phoenix; two sisters, Louise Lynn, Gallatin, and Mary Ann Hogan, Jameson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
