Floyd Pierce

Funeral services for Floyd Pierce, a native of Gallatin, were held Tuesday at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial was at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.

Floyd L. Pierce, 64, Hamilton, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joe.

Mr. Pierce was born in Gallatin. He lived in Hamilton the majority of his life.

Mr. Pierce worked at the Ford Claycomo Plant in auto assembly. He retired in 1999.

In 1978 he married Ruth James. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include one daughter, Suzanne George of Kansas City; one son, Danny of Grandview; one brother, Harold of Lake Viking; five grandchildren; and eight stepgrandchildren.
