Seven Gallatin FFA teams will be going to state following their placements at District Agriculture Contests held recently. The Ag Sales Team received first place with Christina Cox as high individual; Wes Gay as second high individual; and Kara Sullenger as third high individual. The FFA Knowledge Team also placed first with Richie McLey as third high individual.
Other teams going to state include: Livestock, 2nd Jo Ann Tummons, high individual; Forestry, 3rd Brady Feigly, second high individual; Dairy Cattle, 4th; Poultry Team, 5th; Entomology, 9th. Brook Carder placed first in Ag II Speaking and will go to state. Michelle Chadwick placed third in Ag I Speaking and is alternate to state.
