Roberta Jewell (Hewitt) Ball, 90, King City, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at a health-care center in King City.
Funeral services for Roberta Ball, a former resident of Jamesport, will be held Thursday at the Gibson Funeral Home in King City. Burial will be at King City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
Roberta Jewell (Hewitt) Ball, 90, King City, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at a health-care center in King City.
Mrs. Ball, a homemaker, was born in Jamesport. She lived most of her life in King City.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center, both of King City. She was also a past member of the Pythian Sisters Temple and the Echo Club, both of King City.
On Nov. 3, 1934, she married Carl W. Ball in Albany. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Raymond Hewitt; and a half sister, Leona Proctor.
Other survivors include a son, Robert E., King City; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
