On April 6, Gallatin High School will participate in National Student-Athlete Day by recognizing the following student-athletes:
Robert Heldenbrand – varsity football; Nathan Henderson – varsity track; Austin Story – varsity wrestling; Rochelle Davitt – varsity softball; Mackenzie Riley – varsity golf; Jake Humphrey –
varsity golf; Scott Wilkinson – junior varsity golf; Kayli Burrell – varsity track; Jamie Burnett – varsity basketball; Jamie Lunsford – junior varsity basketball; Brice Garnett – varsity basketball;
Will Jarboe – junior varsity basketball.
National Student-Athlete Day was established 14 years ago to recognize student-athletes who have achieved excellence in academics and athletics, while having made contributions to their school and/or community.
Students must have a 3.0 or better GPA and be chosen by their coaches based on the above criteria and contributions to their team. The students will be formally recognized at Gallatin’s spring sports award banquet.
