Funeral services for Willa Bowen were held Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany.
Burial was in Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery, Jamesport. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery, Jamesport, in care of the funeral home.
Willa R. Bowen, 82, Kansas City, formerly of Gilman City, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at an Independence hospital.
Mrs. Bowen was born in Daviess County. She was a graduate of Gilman City High School.
She had worked for the Bendix Corporation in Kansas City for 35 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Bendix Retirement Club and the Order of Eastern Star, both in Kansas City.
Mrs. Bowen had attended the Sterling Acres Baptist Church in Kansas City.
Survivors include two sisters, Geneva Oram, Gilman City, and Sarah Summers, Jamesport.
