A Wisconsin woman sustained moderate injuries in an accident at the Grand River bridge, four miles south of New Pattonsburg in Daviess County, according a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 9 a.m. on March 1 as Lori Laxton, 37, of Lacrosse, Wis., southbound on I-35, lost control of her vehicle on the ice covered bridge and struck the bridge railing. No summons was issued. She was taken to Harrison County Hospital in Bethany for treatment. She was wearing her seat belt.
The vehicle, a 1998 Ford pickup, sustained moderate disposition. It was towed by Bridgeman’s to a lot in Altamont.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. Kimball, assisted by Tpr. Nelson and Daviess County sheriff deputies.
