Junior high and sixth grade Science Olympiad Teams compete at Regionals Gallatin Junior High and Searcy Elementary Science Olympiad Team members recently competed at Regionals held Feb. 17. The Junior High team members and placements were as follows: Tim McCann and Aaron Everly, 2nd in Amphibians and Reptiles; John Runde and Tim McCann, 1st in Mystery Architecture; Kayce Corwin and Katie Patton, 3rd in Road Scholars; Keira Story and Whitney Wright, 2nd in Life-Science Processes; Tim McCann and John Runde, 3rd in Water Quality; Garett Houghton and Adam Strein, 2nd in Battery Buggy; John Runde and Kayce Corwin, 2nd in Bride Building; Whitney Wright and Keira Story, 2nd in Write It/Do It; Emily Gay and John Runde, 3rd in Science of Fitness; Keira Story and Whitney Wright, 3rd in Get Your Bearing; Adam Stein and Garett Houghton, 5th in Egg Drop; Garett Houghton, Adam Strein and Emily Gay, 3rd in Mission Possible; Michelle Chadwick and Aaron Everly, 2ndin Bottle Rockets; Emily Gay and Kayce Corwin, 2nd in Rocks and Minerals; Michelle Chadwick, Whitney Wright and Keira Story, 3rd in Experimental Design; Melissa Craig and Katie Patton, 4th in Can’t Judge a Powder; Keira Story and Whitney Wright, 1st in Physical Science Lab.
