*No wonder America is losing the war on drugs, We can’t even win the war against FBI agents who steal secrets for the Russians.
*Minnesota politicians are angry Gov. Ventura is broadcasting XFL football games. Jesse is such a loose cannon the pols are lucky he’s not tackling them in the Capitol halls.
*How’s this for an idea for a new television show: a program, not unlike “America’s Antiques,” only featuring items the Clintons have taken from the White House.
*Like many of us, President George W. has experienced considerable difficulty in pronouncing words, but if he stumbles on millions, billions, and trillions, we’re wiped out.
*Speech writers caution President Bush that when visiting with members if the Senate, especially Strom Thurmond, he should refrain from saying “a bright future ahead” too often.
*No wonder some of our economic experts are concerned about the effects of President George’s proposed tax cut. The last time we cut taxes we went to war with King George.
*Democrats warn if we drill oil in the Arctic the environment is ruined, but we’ve got lots more ice than oil.
