Funeral services for Iola Berry were held Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Bram Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial was at Berlin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Berlin Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
Iola B. (Cook) Berry, 93, Pattonsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Mrs. Berry was born in DeKalb County. She was a graduate of Maysville High School and attended Maryville Teachers College for two years, earning her teaching certificate.
Mrs. Berry, a homemaker, taught school in DeKalb County until she married.
Mrs. Berry was a member of Maysville Baptist Church and the Berlin Extension Club.
On April 14, 1929, she married J. Foster Berry at Berlin. He died in 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Wendell F. And Stanley E. both of Maysville; a daughter, Marilyn Bivens, Parker, Colo.; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
