Salem, Washington and Benton townships are proposing a tax levy of an additional 15 cents, for three years only, solely to replace ambulance vehicles or remount ambulance vehicles for the Rev. Noel T. Adams Memorial Ambulance District.
Harrison, Salem, Sheridan, and Washington Township, along with the Jamesport Special Road District and the Lock Springs Special Road District, are running tax levy renewals.
There is a race in Jackson Township for trustee, between Rayburn Tolen and Eugene Kime, and competition for two positions on the board between Jim House, Mike Gardner and Owen Henderson.
There is also a race in the KAW Fire Protection District for one board position, between Earl F. Caster and Pat O’Connor.
