FCCLA sends 21 on to state competition

The FCCLA Chapter will send 21 on to state after competition at the annual Regional Star Events on Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Polo High School. The following received gold for junior and senior divisions and will advance to state: Brook Carder, Impromptu Speaking; Kendra Kelly, Haleigh Tague, Allison McLaughlin, Focus on Children; Erin Sweatman and Erin Croy in Illustrated Talk;

Junior and senior Parliamentary Procedure Teams include Keira Story, Katie Ward, Allison Lockridge, Whitney Wright, Brittney Hixson, Lindsey Robertson, Kyle Hefley, Kamille Burrell, Roxi Davitt, Jamie Burnett, Jamie Lunsford, Kayli Burrell, Rochelle Davitt, Laura McCann and Nathan Henderson.

Samantha Bridgeman received a bronze in FCCLA Knowledge; Jamie Freeman and Lindsey Love received a silver in Skills for Life.

Christy Critten, Chris Elbert, Amanda Boyd, Kim Clevenger, JoAnn Tummons, Jeannette Sprague, Sandy Ward were judges at the competition.
