Election results of Extension Council election

County Commission

Following are the approved minutes of Feb. 5, 2001, with all members attending.

Daniel Lynn, bridge supervisor, and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting routine matters.

The election results of the Jan. 25 Extension Council election were certified to the clerk’s office with Billy Bob Breeden, Mary Lee Froman, Ginger Harlow, David Maxwell, and Clint Vanatta elected to the board.

Bills were audited and paid.

Judy Carder, treasurer, met with the commission representing individuals having paid property taxes twice. Three abatements were granted. Since there is no provision in the state statutes for this correction, the county will pay the entire amount of $767.62 from the general fund.

Ron Hood met with the commission regarding the lease for the former dispatch house. The lease was executed by the commission and taken by Mr. Hood for his wife’s signature.
