Early childhood screening, preschool registration

The Gallatin R-5 School District will hold its annual Early Childhood Screening and Preschool Registration March 1-2 at the Daviess County Library Community Center.

The screening is a developmental evaluation of a child’s language, speech, motor skills, hearing, vision, height and weight and is for children three and four years of age. Parents whose child will be four years old by Aug. 1, 2001, and wish to attend the Gallatin R-5 Preschool need to bring their child’s birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and $6 for supplies.
