Funeral services for Anna Burton were held at 2 p.m. today (Wed., Feb. 7, 2001) at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Cameron Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Anna A. Burton, 79, Cameron, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Kansas City.
Mrs. Burton, a homemaker, was born in Rolla. She graduated from McFall.
She married David Burton on July 20, 1939, in Gallatin. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Burton was also preceded in death by one son, Buddy Burton, one daughter, Martha Bates, one brother, Clark Blair, and one sister, Rosalie Blair.
Survivors include one son, David Burton Jr., Holt; one daughter, Myrtle Northgrove, Cameron; two brothers, Kenneth Blair and Donald Blair, both of Cameron; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; 4 stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
