Mira A. Huffman, 28, of Gallatin was arrested Jan. 18 for the Class C felony of abuse of a child, following an investigation by the Division of Family Services. Bond was set at $25,000.

On Jan. 16, Richard Smith of Liberty reported the theft of tools and hunting equipment valued at $650 from his farm located north and east of Kidder.

On Jan. 21, a 21-year-old Iowa man was arrested for the Class A misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, and the Class A misdemeanor, driving without a valid license. Bond was set at $750.

Junior Dixon of Jamesport reported on Jan. 22 that his property had been vandalized.

Ted Morgan from the I-35 Speedway reported Jan. 22 that a building at the track had been vandalized. There was approximately $500 in damage done to the windows in the building.

On Jan. 22, Jacqueline S. Hiley of Gallatin reported being the victim of fraud when a subject acquired her social security number.

The Gallatin Police Department took a report of domestic violence on Jan. 22. It was later determined that the incident occurred outside of town, and the report was turned over to the sheriff’s office.

On Jan. 23, Charles Fuller of Gallatin reported vandalism to a light located at his farmhouse. Damage is estimated at $100.

Eric A King, 29, of Lock Springs was arrested Jan. 23 for two counts of Class D felony stalking. Bond was set at $5,000.
