Funeral services for Edmund Fry, brother of Elbert of Gallatin, were held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at the Cameron Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial was at Cameron Memorial Gardens, Cameron.

Memorials may be directed to the church.

Edmund C. “Ed” Fry, 70, Cameron, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Fry graduated from Cameron High School and attended Graceland College.

He had served in the Navy as a frogman in the Koran War.

Mr. Fry worked for Imperial Oil and D.W. Newcomer.

He was a pastor and assistant pastor for the Cameron Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ, a church elder, and a Sunday school teacher.

On Sept. 4, 1954, he married the former Bonnie Hubbard. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, David, Cameron; a daughter, Rebecca Frye, Lexington; and four grandchildren.
