A new senior pastor has begun serving at Gallatin Assembly of God Church. The congregation welcomed the Rev. and Mrs. Abel Perez to the parish and church located on Gallatin’s east side.
Both Rev. Perez and his wife, Rebecca, graduated from Zion Bible Institute in Rhode Island in 1986. Pastor Perez completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies at Central Bible College
in Missouri; Rebecca obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies and elementary education from Trinity College in North Dakota.
In their 12 years of ministry, the Perezes have served as youth pastors and associate pastors in Kirksville as well as at Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Coloma, MI. Recently, they were pioneering associate pastors in a Spanish Assembly of God Church in Harford, MI. The Perezs are the parents of three children: Deborah, 8, Rachel, 4, and 9-month-old Andrew.
You are invited to meet Pastor Perez and his family and join worship services at the church, 208 South Willow Street, during Sunday School beginning at 9:45 a.m. followed by worship services at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. each Sunday.
