Gallatin is sponsoring a blood drive with Community Blood Center on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Gallatin Methodist Church. Because one day, it could be someone you know that needs blood. Please call Judi Dowell at 663-3190 for more information or to sign up. The sponsor is Omicron Phi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds, and be in good health. All donors receive cholesterol testing. Donations blood takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour of your time. Since most blood donations are broken down into components, as many as three lives can be saved from just one pint of blood. Now that’s time well spent!
