Warren L. McElwain, Associate Circuit Judge of DeKalb County for the past 22 years, will be sworn in as Circuit Judge, Division I, of the 43rd Judicial Circuit at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, in the Circuit Courtroom of the DeKalb County Courthouse in Maysville.
The Honorable Judge Kenneth R. Lewis of Chillicothe will preside at the ceremony. He has presided over the 43rd Judicial Circuit for more than 26 years, and will retire Jan. 1, 2001.
Judge McElwain and his family invite the public to attend the ceremony, and a reception that will immediately follow in the Community Room of the Independent Farmers Bank (which is locate just west across the street from the courthouse.)
