The North Daviess R-3 Board of Education consented to allow the school to participate in an elementary tournament at the Gilman City School in March during its regular meeting held Dec. 11, 2000.

In other business at Monday’s meeting, Superintendent Julie Kirby presented the District’s Annual Report Card for review by the board. The publication will be mailed to all registered voters in the district.

The financial statement was presented by Ms. Kirby. Bills were paid as presented.

Ms. Kirby has begun scheduling some repairs for the elementary and high school buildings. A revised list of facilities repairs will be presented at the next meeting.

The board went into executive session to discuss employee and student matters.

Board members present at the North Daviess R-3 School Board meeting held Dec. 11 were David Iddings, Donald Baker, Bob Griffin, Debbie Ray. Board members absent were Chris Nelson, Rhonda Sweet and Beverly Hunter. Also present were Superintendent Julie Kirby.

The next regularly scheduled meeting was set for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15 at Coffey.
