Students at North Daviess R-3 School District job shadowed in the community Dec. 5. The School-To-Work career experience allows students to observe, in a work setting, a job in their interest group. Students have been preparing for the School-To-Work program by researching job interests, preparing resumes, securing references, discussing employability skills and work ethics. Twenty-seven students experienced all aspects of their chosen career in-depth.
The North Daviess Family and Consumer Science and business departments have worked in conjunction with local businesses to ensure students a day of on-site work experience. Gallatin individuals participating are Eugene Story, DVM, Darin Adkins, Cirucit Court, and Carla Wilson, Hair Daze.
