The Gallatin Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call at 9 p.m. on Dec. 6 at 601 West Grand.
Police arrived to find both parties had left the premises. Police discovered that a neighbor had removed an infant while the fight was in progress and taken the baby to her own home for safe keeping.
The neighbor reported that the child had been lying amid broken glass on the floor. Police checked on the baby’s safety and filed a report.
