Word was received on Nov. 25, 2000, of the death of Helen Williams Ford sister of Bergene Williams Hunt of Altamont. The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Ford was born June 22, 1926, south of Gallatin.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ford left Gallatin during World War II and went to California to work in the defense plants with friends from Gallatin.
She resided at Bombay Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Bid and Burg Williams; one half brother, Pete Findly; and four infant brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Walker, and by her second husband, Hal Ford.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Garcia of California; three sons, John, Mike and Pat Walker of California; and four grandchildren.
