Memorial services for Jerry Lee Smith were held Monday, Nov. 27, at the Jamesport Baptist Church. The body was cremated. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Jamesport. Memorials may be made to the Jerry Lee Smith Memorial Fund in care of Bram Funeral Home, 1329 West Grand Ave., Gallatin, MO 64640.

Jerry Lee (Underwood) Smith, 55, Jamesport, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Cameron Community Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Junction City, Kan. She graduated from Junction City High School and attended secretarial college there.

A homemaker, she and her husband owned and operated JJ’s Restaurant in Jamesport since 1985.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Pilot Grove #1 Baptist Church, near Jamesport.

On May 5, 1978, she married James R. (Jim) Smith in Junction City. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tina Beth.

Other survivors include two sons, Jimmy Smith of Jamesport and Steve Hopkins of Killeen, Texas; two daughters, Scarlett Tomasi of Pittsburg, Kan., and Heather Rivera of Killeen, Texas; two brothers, John Hampton of Sedalia and Mark Swanson of Excelsior Springs; and six grandchildren.
