Steve Walsh, lead singer for the rock group “Kansas”, will be signing the Christmas CD, “Remember the One,” on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the East Hills Mall in St. Joseph, from 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Walsh is also featured on the music CD which began as a fundraising project for the St. James Catholic School in St. Joe. Father Vince Rogers, a graduate of Gallatin R-5, is priest at the church.
In November the St. Louis CD manufacturing company which had agreed to burn the CD went out of business. As a result the church lost $3,500 and the children were without a CD to sell as a fundraiser.
Mr. Walsh is hoping his signing will help make up some of those losses. The CD can still be ordered by calling 1-800-955-1020.
