Gallatin City Police responded to a disturbance on Friday night, Nov. 10. The individual resisted arrest. He was taken to the Livingston County jail and was released Saturday, Nov. 11, after a 20 hour hold. Charges against him are being processed.

A white male was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) late Saturday night near Elm and Main streets. He was taken to the zone office for breathalyzer analysis. He was released on his own recognizance.
A Stanberry man was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday night. Karl Fredrick was westbound on Highway 6 about 8 p.m. in Gallatin when his vehicle slid on the icy road. The truck went off the north side of the road, then was airborne as it vaulted a fence and landed in some trees. The Community Ambulance took Mr. Fredrick to a doctor’s office in Albany and then to the Albany hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
