Amanda Fehlauer, daughter of Don and Marilyn Fischer, toured the Midwest with the William Jewell College Chapel during the annual fall choir tour from Oct. 8-16. The choir performed at several churches and high schools in Kansas, Missouri and Illinois, and also spent two days in Chicago. Amanda sings alto in the choir and is a first year music performance major at William Jewell.

Tour members are selected from the 115-voice Chapel Choir, which performs regularly on the Liberty campus and in Kansas City area churches. The choir has inaugurated a series of Christmas concerts of major choral works with orchestra. In recent years, the choir has presented programs for the Missouri, Colorado, Illinois and Kansas/Nebraska Baptist Conventions; the Missouri Directors of Missions conference at Windermere Baptist Assembly; the North American Baptist Women’s Union; and the Church Music Workshop at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

Founded in 1849, William Jewell College is a four-year liberal arts college located in Liberty
