Students square off against parents in final academic meet

Gallatin Elementary School fourth, fifth and sixth graders completed their academic team competition on Oct. 24, when they competed against their parents in the final academic meet of the season. The meet was preceded by a well-attended hot dog supper in the elementary lunchroom. The fifth grade competed in the library. The fourth grade competed in the old gym, while the sixth grade parents and students competed in Mrs. Ray’s classroom.
