Sept. 19, Judge Daren Adkins
A dissolution of marriage was granted to Lynda Joyce Worrell from Gary Ross Worrell.
Sept. 20, Judge John R. Hutcherson
Probation for Charlie E. Childs was revoked and he was ordered to serve 8 years in the Dept. of Corrections for possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, class B felony.
Law Day, Sept. 21 – Judge Kenneth R. Lewis
Dissolutions of marriage were granted to Sandra P. Webb from Jackie R. Webb Jr. and to Jennifer McNutt from Jason McNutt.
Michelle J. Smith, who plead guilty in July to the class C felony of abuse of a child, was given a suspended imposition of sentence and placed on probation for 5 years.
Ronald Louis Zane, who plead guilty Aug. 24 to Count I – Possession of controlled substance, class C felony; Count II – Possession of marijuana, class A misdemeanor; and Count III – possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, class A misdemeanor, was sentenced to 5 years in the Dept. of Correction on Count I and 6 years in the county jail on each of Counts II and III, sentences to be served concurrently. Execution of sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 5 years.
Probation was revoked for Thomas Bailey and he was sentenced to 3 years in the Dept. of Corrections for forgery, class C felony.
Judge Warren McElwain
David W. Smith’s suspended imposition of sentence was revoked and he was sentenced to 5 years in the Dept. of Corrections on each count of burglary in the 2nd degree and stealing, class C felonies, sentences to be served consecutively. Execution of the sentences was suspended and he was placed on probation for 5 years. Special conditions of probation include that he serve the balance of three days of a 20-day shock jail time sentence earlier imposed and that he complete a 30-day in-patient substance abuse program.
Kelly Eugene Frazier plead guilty to the class D felony of non-support. He was given a suspended imposition of sentence and placed on supervised probation for 5 years.
