Are you looking for an exciting, motivating, and inspiring day? If you are a school teacher, a child care provider, a Sunday school teacher or a parent, this workshop, sponsored by the Green Hills Head Start Program, is for you.

Dr. Becky Bailey will present a one-day workshop, “Brain Smart Discipline,” from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Ketcham Community Center on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton.

Dr. Bailey is a professor of Early Childhood Education and Development, a nationally known presenter, author, and expert on parent and teacher education. She is the author of numerous research articles, audio tapes and guidance books including her newest, “Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline.”

There is currently a revolution in brain research that is impacting teaching and learning techniques for children. Each child’s brain is as unique as his or her fingerprints. From Dr. Bailey’s workshop, you will learn in easy-to-understand terms what to do to boost each child’s brain potential.
