The Daviess County Farm Bureau will host Candidates Night at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Daviess County Library Community Room. Scheduled to appear are: candidates for sheriff – Kevin Heldenbrand and Robert Smith; for Daviess County assessor – Betty Harmison and Lisa Vanderslice; for county commissioner district two – Tom Houghton and Danny Heldenbrand; for county commissioner district one – David Holcomb; for Daviess County treasurer/ex officio collector Judy Carder; for Public Administrator – Vicki Corwin and Rhea Youtsey.
The candidates will have three minutes to deliver their presentation. Afterward, there will be an open forum for questions from the audience.
The public is invited to attend Candidates Night. Refreshments will be provided.
