Willobelle Patton, 86, Liberty, died Sept. 7, 2000, at the Ashton Court Care and Rehabilitation Centre in Liberty.
Funeral services for Willobelle Patton, a former resident of Gallatin, were held Sept. 12, 2000, at the Thruman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial was at Kincaid Cemetery in Knoxville. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.

Mrs. Patton was born in Knoxville and was a former resident of Richmond.
She was a beauty salon manager for Macy’s and Swanson’s in Kansas City.
Mrs. Patton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richmond and Gallatin; and the O.E.S. in Gallatin.
She married Merl Patton of St. Joseph. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary June Mossage.
Survivors include one son, Richie Franklin Summers; one daughter, Martha Ann (Summers) Scott of Richmond; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
