John Louis Stossel, 34, Los Angeles, Calif., died Sept. 3, 2000, on Bouquet Canyon Road, South of Elizabeth Lake in Los Angeles, Calif., from injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident.
John Louis Stossel, 34, Los Angeles, Calif., died Sept. 3, 2000, on Bouquet Canyon Road, South of Elizabeth Lake in Los Angeles, Calif., from injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident.
Mr. Stossel was born in Ukiah, Calif., and lived in San Jose, Calif., and Kansas City, where he worked for Alltel Systems, Inc., before moving back to California in 1990. He was a computer software engineer for Sun Soft, a Sun Microsystems, Inc. business.
Mr. Stossel was preceded in death by a brother, David Paul Williams, in 1996, and his grandparents, Charles Frederick Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Jack Stossel of Gallatin, and Frances Johnson of Santa Barbara, Calif.; four sisters, Pamela Stossel of Westminister, Calif., Alberta Stossel, Nev., Kimberly Shellman, Ore., and Heather Fellows, San Leandro, Calif.; and a brother, Leonard Stossel, New York.
Memorial services were held Sept. 8, 2000, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mar Vista, Calif.
