Nancy Vu began her duties as Director of Nurses at Daviess County Care Center on Aug. 21. She has worked in nursing homes for the past 20 years, beginning as a nurse’s aid. Most recently she served as D.O.N. at another facility for a year and a half. She has experience working in home health and hospice, both as a staff nurse and interim director.
Born and raised in Grundy County, Nancy Vu received her R.N. degree at North Central Missouri College at Trenton. She has three children, Adam Little, and Amy and Julie Vu, and one grandson Asica. She resides in Trenton.
Rita Hampton has returned to the Care Center as Interim Director. Mrs. Hampton was administrator at the Care Center from Nov. 1 until mid-December when she took a leave of absence for health reasons. Mrs. Hampton has served in the capacity as administrator for various health care institutions since 1982.
