Funeral services for Beverly Shipers, mother of Dalana Wright of Gallatin, were held Tuesday at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial was at Miriam Cemetery, Bethany. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.

Mrs. Shipers, a housewife, was born in Bethany.
On Feb. 23, 1962, she married Jim Shipers. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Shipers was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Blessing.
Other survivors include a son, Todd, Mount Moriah; another daughter, Cindy Oliver, Independence; a brother, Dr. Larry Blessing, Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Leta Landes, Stewartsville; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
