Funeral services for Donald Stitt were held Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg.
Donald David “Poodle” Stitt, 80, McFall, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at a Cameron hospital.
Mr. Stitt was born in Pattonsburg. He was a retired farmer and MFA elevator operator.
Mr. Stitt was married to Wilma Loraine Daniel on Aug. 16, 1939. She died in 1989.
Mr. Stitt was also preceded in death by five brothers, Clyde, Leland, Lawrence, Harold and Glen; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Latimer, Cameron, Susan Phillips, Albany, and Pamela Crain, Kansas City; a sister, Hazel Woodring, Gallatin; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
