The Gallatin Garden Club selected this yard owned by Frank (Pat) and Ester Ryan at 510 South Clay as the Yard of the Month of August. Beverly Terrill and Geraldine Snidow presented the Ryans with a wrought-iron yard sign and plaque. Club members hope to get yard- owners thinking about landscaping with flowers in 2001. Next year a committee made up of the 15 members of the club will vote on a yard through the months of May, June, July and August. Out of the four yards chosen, the club will vote on a final winning yard which will receive a gift certificate. [Submitted Photo]
