The Midwest Razorbacks will face the Iowa Storm of Creston, Ia., at 5 p.m. Saturday at Princeton High School.

At press time not a lot was known about the Iowa Storm. They have one conference win.

“We really don’t know what to expect from this club,” said head Razorbacks coach Jason Siemer. “I will be in contact with their coach later this week.”

Last week the Razorbacks lost to the Omaha Bears, 54-0. The Bears are one of the top 15 teams in the nation. The Razorbacks went into the game with 8 new players on the field. “We didn’t play as a team, but it was tough with that many new people,” said Siemer. “The lack of execution plus poor defensive play set the tone for the rest of the game.”

Injuries played a role in the loss as well. Michael Hubbard, Gallatin tailback, was injured in the first half with a deep bruise to his right wrist. Chris Smoot, linebacker/fullback from Odessa, is still out with a sternum injury. Lance McCann of Chillicothe is expected to return from a knee injury this week. The Razorbacks lose center Jason Phillips this week to college as he begins classes.
